We are excited to be able to launch a brand new website for our 6th annual concert!
Refreshed and redesigned.
So much planning goes into this concert to make it better each year. It’s the people that make this concert special. It’s people that make a difference. And that is the core of Bluegrass Battles Hunger; helping those less fortunate.
If this is your first time visiting, let us explain. Our concert benefits Second Harvest Community Food Bank monetarily and by collecting non-perishable food. Second Harvest is then able to help residents in Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas with their various programs.
A hot meal can be easy to take for granted. How often do you sit down for a meal and not think about those in your own community who are unable to enjoy a cheeseburger off the grill?
Music for the Soul, Food for the Hungry
I think you could make a case that downtown St. Joseph, MO is going through a phase of being refreshed and redesigned. For example,
- Plans for New Downtown Park – This is our current venue.
- $20 Million Investment in Historic Building – Across the street from Coleman Hawkins Park.
- Businesses sprouting up throughout downtown
- Potential Redevelopment
This is exciting news! We are thankful to be apart of the energy going on in St. Joseph. We invite you to be apart of it too.
Will you join us?
